He is survived by: his wife Shirley Main McCoy; and his children, Randy McCoy (Jamie) of North Wilkesboro and Rhonda Cook (David) of Boone.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Austin and Barnes Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Mount Lawn Memorial Park.
