He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Matthew and Edith Annette Brown Anderson; his wife Jean Anderson (Double); and his siblings, Wilbur "Swede" Anderson, Phyllis Baker, Winifred Murphy and Joyce Keltz.
He is survived by: his children, Martin J. Anderson of Pittsburgh, PA and Julie A. Franco of Raleigh, NC; his grandson Nicolas G. Franco of Raleigh, NC; his girlfriend Sandra Haley; and his partner's daughter Tammy Haley of Todd, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
