He is survived by: his parents, Lillian Parsons Welch and Paul Oakley Welch; his wife Debbie Welch; his daughters, Lizi Welch (JD Worthing) of Laurel Bloomery, TN and Katie Welch of West Jefferson; and his grandchildren, Hayley, Riley and James Christopher.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the South Fork Baptist Church (157 S Fork Church Rd, Todd, NC 28684). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
