It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Brian Sidden of Traphill, North Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alphonso Conrad Sidden and Martha Letitia Brown Sidden; and his siblings, Edwin, Edgar of Clyde, A. C, Junior, Clay Sidden and Mary McDaniel.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia Irwin Sidden; his children, Wendy Hutchison of Traphill and Dwayne Sidden (Penny) of Traphill; his grandchildren, Letitia King (Chris) of Elkin, Ashton Gant (Marisa) of New Jersey, Annalise Gant of Greensboro, Karston Hutchison of Traphill, Christian Sidden of Traphill and Micah Sidden of Traphill; his great grandchildren, Casen and Regan King; his sisters, Martha Myers of Traphill and Maxine Whittington of North Wilkesboro; and his nephew Micah Sidden (Leanne).
