With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Lynn Elledge Massengill of Traphill, North Carolina, who passed away on March 30, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Elledge and Pearl Bailey Elledge; her brother Steve Elledge; and her half-siblings, Bob Dillard, Ruby Adams and Rita Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Massengill; her children, Brian Massengill (Shannon) of Wilkesboro, John Paul Massengill (Lisa) of Akron, Ohio and Renee Ryan (Jeff) of Littleton, Colorado; and her siblings, Ralph Elledge (Betty) of North Wilkesboro, Bruce Elledge (Heather) of Hays, Neal Elledge of Hays and Sandra Shumate (Roy) of Hays. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
