We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2024, at the age of 91, Claude Evert Childress of Traphill, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his siblings, Walter, John, Louise, Virginia and Betty.

He is survived by : his friend Jo Anne; his son David Ayers; his pets, Lady and Bandit; his wife Jo Anne; his children, Greg Childress (Joan) of Volborg, Montana and Glinda McGuire (Joe) of Traphill; his grandson Zeffrey Childress of Hendersonville, NC; his brother Bobby of Lewisville, NC.; his caregiver Jonathon Decker; and also Rex Sidden.
