Evelyn Owens Norman Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Evelyn Owens Norman of Traphill, North Carolina. Evelyn, born on December 10, 1924, passed away on August 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Murphy "Vess" Sylvester and Alice Billings Owens; her husband Curtis "Skeet" Norman; and her siblings, Murphy Owens, Brock Owens (Lula), Wilda Owens Lawrence (Cecil), Blair Owens Morrison, Opal Owens Bates (Roy) and Artie Owens-Martin (Hervy).

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Vera Owens of Winston-Salem; and her nieces, Barbara Cooper of Elkin, Debo Lawrence-Cornett of Elkin and Alicia Cartette of Winston-Salem.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in Evelyn's honor to the Wilkes Humane Society.
