He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sherman Bauguess and Mattie Spicer Bauguess. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bauguess; his children, Jimmy Bauguess (Tammy) of Traphill and Ann Fortin (Larry Pinnix) of Traphill; his sisters, Nell Deacon of North Wilkesboro and Rosemary Hoffay of High Point; and his grandchildren, Amanda Bauguess, Dylan Bauguess, Jimmy Bauguess III, Carleigh Byrd, Haleigh Bauguess, Amber Bauguess, Rebecca Gillispie, Melissa Hathcox, Meaghan Church, Jay Fortin and Alana Fortin. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Thurmond Community Building (1563 US-21, Thurmond, NC 28683).
