He is survived by: his wife Eva Sue Collins Shaver; his daughter Sandra Sue; his son-in-law Wesley Carl Hayes; his son Jay Carl Shaver; his grandchildren, Benny Hayes (Brandie), Brittany Hayes, Daulton Hayes (Katherine), Brandon Hayes (Serena) and Amber Hayes; his great grandchildren, Gracie Hawkins Bates, Matthew Hawkins Bates, Sebastian Hayes, Rayna Hayes and Larry John Hayes; his sister Barbara Jean Byrd; his nieces, Stephanie Shaver and Tina Byrd; his nephew Jeff Byrd; and his pet Patches.
