She was predeceased by : her parents, Gordon Noah and Nancy Ann Absher Wagoner; her husband Travis Odell "Pete" Bauguess; and her son-in-law David Hall. She is survived by : her children, Travis Bauguess of State Road and Janet; her son-in-law Tommy Yale of Hays; her daughter Patricia "Sissy" Hall of State Road; her sister Hilda Bauguess of Elkin; her grandchildren, Tommy Yale, Jr., Justin Yale, Pam, Josh Price, Craig and Marsia Hall; and her great grandchildren, Maggi, Trea, Ilex, Natalia, Sophia, Jeremiah, Jacob, Mikey, Bailey, Liam and Nicholas.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elkin Funeral Service (560 North Carolina 268 W, Elkin, NC 28621). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Round Hill Baptist Church (2432 Billings Hill Church Rd, Traphill, NC 28683).

Flowers will be accepted, or in lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to Round Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Susan Sparks 2583 Absher Road, Traphill, NC 28685.
