She was predeceased by: her parents, Manlath "Doc" Colbert and Philena Joines Colbert; and her brother William "Willie" Joines. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Quincy" Johnson Sr.; her children, Charles Johnson Jr. (Barabra) of Traphill and Jill Baker (Chris) of Traphill; her sisters, Libby Colbert and Judy Johnson (Bobby); her grandchildren, Ethan Baker (Tiffany), Leigha Pruitt (Justin), Lucas Baker (Hannah Ponder) and Jordyn Goulding (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Sarah Whittington, Prudence Pruitt, Cayden Baker and Cooper Goulding. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Old Roaring River Baptist Church (13932 Longbottom Rd, Traphill, NC 28685). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at the Old Roaring River Baptist Church Cemetery (13932 Longbottom Rd, Traphill, NC 28685).
