Though Mitzi may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sankie Ebert and Virginia Dare Blevins Billings. She is survived by: her husband Darrel Lavaughn Combs; and her siblings, Sherry Rose (Mickey) of Raleigh, Greg Billings (Belva) of Elkin and Johnny Billings of Morganton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Elkin Valley Baptist Church (118 N Elkin Dr, Elkin, NC 28621). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
