She is survived by: her husband Ronnie McKinney; her son Jeffery McKinney; her grandchildren, Carley McKinney and Peter McKinney; her great grandchildren, Cameron McKinney, Steven Points, Jr. and Jordan Points; her siblings, Nola Pate (Roger) and Billy Mercer (Ann); and her siblings-in-law, Diane Mercer, Carolyn Mercer, Jackie McKinney (Genny) and Ricky McKinney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Donna's memory to Faith Baptist Church, Trenton, NC.
