It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Turner in Trinity, North Carolina, born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Franklin Jeromine Turner and Freezie Beulah Slate Turner; his siblings, R. F., Ritzel, David, Sis and Betty Jo; and his stepdaughter Donna Dixon (Mark).

He is survived by : his wife Shelby Jean Turner; his siblings, Lucille Goins, Fred Turner and Donald Turner; his sister-in-law Rena; his stepdaughter Mitzi Morgan (Derek); and his grandchildren, Isabel, Ethan, Jackson, Anthony, Joey, Shawn and Nicole.
