It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Louise Marley of Trinity, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Monroe Byrd and Willie Louise Bowers Byrd; her husband Joel Wayne Marley Sr.; her son Joel Wayne Marley, Jr.; her siblings, Mary Jane Anderson, Sharon Todd and David Byrd; and her grandson Bradley Felts.

She is survived by : her son Darrin Marley (Mildred); her daughter-in-law Kim Marley; and her grandchildren, Jason Marley (JoBeth), Heather Edwards (Ryan) and Delta Marley. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Randolph County.
