She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Leonard and Ruth Anna Kurlfink. She is survived by : her children, Darlene Sexton Smith (Eric), Mark Sexton (Nancy Campbell) and Tim Sexton (Amy); her grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Brook), Rusty Sexton (Fabienne), Courtney Sexton, Zac Sexton, David Sexton, Connor Sexton and Delaney Sexton; and her great grandchildren, Izayah Chase Gilkerson, Hope Sexton, Adin Sexton, Liam Sexton, Noah Sexton, Benjamin Sexton and Seeley Grant.

Memorials may be donated to the Hospice of the Piedmont-Randolph Hospice House.
