He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paris Bunch and Okie Bunch; his sister Judy Fox; his sister-in-law Wanda Haliday; his grandson Travis Benfield; his children, Jeff Bunch (Leslie), Sheivon Benfield (Gary) and Jennifer Bunch (David); and his grandchildren, Jessie Worrell, Kayla Deweese (Zachary), Daniel Worrell (Erin), Ashley Fowler (Jeremy), Nichole Davis (Mike) and Brandon Benfield.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Poplar Ridge Friends Church (3673 Hoover Hill Rd, Trinity, NC 27370). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting (3673 Hoover Hill Rd, Trinity, NC 27370). A committal service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 4:45 PM at the Poplar Ridge Friends Church Cemetery (3673 Hoover Hill Rd, Trinity, NC 27370).
