He is survived by : his children, Sherrill Dean (Connie) of Winston Salem, James Howard (Lu Ann), William Clay (Heather), Neal Thomas (Mary) of Thomasville and Frances Diane Willis of Savannah; his grandchildren, Leslie Ward, Travis Ward, Caleb Ward (Lanna), Abbie Ward and Foster Willis; and his great grandchildren, Nova, Nash Dean Ward and Myra.
