She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover "Lum" Robertson and Mary Kathryn "Kat" Shermer; her husband Ronald Lawson Kennedy; her sister Nancy "Nanny" Gallimore; and her brothers-in-law, Doak Gallimore and Rod Huffman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karyn Efird of Trinity and LeAnn Kennedy of Durham; her grandsons, Nick Efird and Landon Efird; and her siblings, Mike Robertson of Lexington and Janie Huffman of Atlanta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
