He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joseph Wayne Hamm; his wife Diane "Dee" Beck Hamm; his mother Shirley Ann Hancock Whitaker of Stokesdale; his children, Kimberly Hayworth of Trinity, Stephanie Atkins (Roger) of Hillsborough and Phillip Stone of Stokesdale; his siblings, Tammy Hamm (Ronnie McMichael) of Oak Ridge and Danny Hamm (Donna) of Hillsville, VA; and his grandchildren, Connor, Alexa and Addison Atkins of Hillsborough.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Southgate Baptist Church (104 Cloniger Dr, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
