He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Glover Kendrick and Lois Gammons Kendrick; his granddaughter Crystal Dawn Mitchem; and his siblings, Raymond "Junior" Kendrick, Juanita Beal, Betty Wingfield and Janet Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Stanley Kendrick; his children, Cindy Kendrick of Stuart, VA, Shannon Arthurs (Paxton) of Asheboro, NC, Gary "Randy" Kendrick, Jr., Bobby Owens of Trinity, NC and Scott Owens; his siblings, Vernon Kendrick (Hazel) and Brenda Barnhart of Archdale; his grandchildren, Krista, Samantha, Bella, Zane, Bailey, Blake, Gavin, Montana and Scott, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Karaline, Kayden, Allison and Axel; his niece Deanna Ritchie; his pet Rocky; Audrey Miller.
