He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Phillips; his children, Allen Cox (Lovely) and Carolyn Cox (Jerry Oldham); his stepchildren, Tony Potts (Debbie), Rick Potts (Melissa), David Potts (Angie), Cathy Lackey (Daniel), Joyce Potts (Billy Ratliff) and Cynthia Christley (Allen); and his siblings, Barry Cox, Gary Cox (Carolyn), Linda Gibson, Phyllis Workman (Dallas), Cheryl Berry (Steve) and Joyce Tucker. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
