As Ina departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ina. Though Ina may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James "JB" Peace and Irene Davis Peace; and her husband Calvin "Butch" Bates. She is survived by: her sister Wanda Brady; her nephews, Richard "Ricky" Brady (Cherie) and James "Michael" Brady; and her great-nephews, Austin Brady, Tommy Brady and Hunter Brady.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Archdale. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 2668 Marlboro Church Rd, Sophia, NC 27350.
