It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Brown Segers of Trinity, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Brannon Segers and Elsie Lambeth Segers; his daughter Merri Faye Segers; his siblings, Donald Segers and Peggy Winters; and his granddaughter Miranda Faye Metcalf.

He is survived by : his children, Jerry "Scott" Segers (Mitze) of Lexington and Wendy Steele (Brandon) of High Point; his grandchildren, Nicole Blue (Josh), Matthew Segers, Brittney Martin (Brandon) and Nicholas Holdren; and his great grandchildren, Noah Blue, Charlotte Martin, Cohen Martin and Campbell Martin.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Davidson County.
