With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larry Claude Townsend of Trinity, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonso Edgar Townsend and Christine Stone Townsend; and his siblings, Gilbert Townsend, Mary Townsend Taylor and Branford Townsend.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Townsend; his brother Jerry Townsend; his children, Shelley Renee Townsend and Larry Tyronne Townsend (Priscilla); his grandsons, Landon and Keenan Brock; and his great grandchildren, Kenzie and Sophie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Archdale First Church of God. A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery.
