He was predeceased by : his father Clarence Casper Mitchem. He is survived by : his mother Joan Masters Mitchem of Trinity; his wife Mary "Grace" Mitchem; his children, Kendra Trent of Thomasville, Miyah Mitchem and Mark Andrew Mitchem (Shell) of Sophia; his sisters, Brenda Gayle Scarfo (Karl) of Trinity, Karen Diane Myers (Terry) of Lexington and Lisa Elaine Mitchem of Thomasville; and his grandchildren, Ella, Emma, Alec, Isabella and Logan.
