It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Dehart Day of Trinity, North Carolina, born in Macon, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father George Harrison Mason; her former life partner Loyal Eli DeHart; her husband Doyle Day; and her siblings, Eugene, Charles, Cecil, Howard, Olene, Barbara, Helen and Dellamae.
She is survived by : her mother Ola Haney Mason; her children, Bruce DeHart (Ruth Ann), Wanda Holmes, David DeHart, Michael DeHart, Harriet Williams, Everett DeHart and Vernon DeHart (Stephanie); and her siblings, Jack, Naomi, Bess, Ann and Gertrude. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
