We announce the death of McArthur Williams in Trinity, North Carolina, born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 74. McArthur will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Williams and Elizabeth Robinson Williams; and his siblings, Betty Johnson, Janie Brown, Joseph Williams Jr. and Lyndell Williams.
He is survived by: his siblings, Martha Reynolds, Judy Pratt, Christine Williams, Randolph Williams and Elvira Robinson; his aunts, Betty Robinson and Ruth Baker; and his sister-in-law Loleeta Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hooper Funeral Home (1415 West 14th Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oaklawn Memorial Park.
