It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Saferight of Trinity, North Carolina, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Turner and Bertha Surprise Mawyer Green; her husband James Albert Saferight; and her siblings, Donle Saunders, Wanda Young and Clifton Green.

She is survived by : her children, Jamie Beck (Donald) of Archdale, Shelly Witcher (Chad) of Trinity and Jayson Saferight (Jennifer) of Archdale; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Nichols (Dylan), Chase Witcher, Sam Beck, Jake Saferight and Jaxon Saferight; and her siblings, Liz Church of Trinity, Evalene Young (Terry) of Trinity and Curtis Green (Glenda) of Lexington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the Archdale First Church of God (7009 Weant Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Archdale First Church of God, 7009 Weant Road, Archdale, NC 27263; or to Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
