With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nora Odessa Johnson of Trinity, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Nora Odessa leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rachel Rabon and Herman Lowder; and her siblings, Joseph Darrell Lowder, Herman Ford Lowder Jr., Odis Truman Lowder Sr. and Sherian "Sylvia" Lowder Blakely.
She is survived by: her brothers, Randall Lee Lowder and Johnny Lynn Lowder; and her children, Richard Hollifield, Ashley Efird and Amanda Love. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church (1448 E US Hwy 64, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
