He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Gordon Smith, Sr.; his grandparents, Grover and Ethel Hill; his parents-in-law, Judith Bryant and Jack Bryant; and his brothers-in-law, Tony Bryant and Mitchell Bryant.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Mae Smith; his pet Izzy Boo; his wife Tammy Smith; his daughter Ashley Lawlor (Michael); his grandchildren, Kinsley and Reece Lawlor; and his siblings, Jayn Brigman (Steve), Andi Akers (Gary), Tina Stacy (Howard), Tamara Smith and Gordon Smith (Laura). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Full Armour Christian Center (6496 NC-62, Trinity, NC 27370).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Blood Bought Holiness Church in Archdale, North Carolina, in Scott's honor.
