He is survived by: his wife Katie McDonald; his children, Timothy McDonald (Kylie), Nicholas McDonald (Alizeyah), Grace Doughten (Matt) and Kaylee McDonald (Josh Williams); his grandchildren, Magnolia Rae, Rilan Grace, Emily Rayne, Esme Elizabeth and Brinley Rose; his mother Ann McDonald of Asheboro; his siblings, Debra McDonald, Pattie Kearns, Heather McDonald, Cheryle Sims of Florida, James McDonald (Jane) of Wilmington, Chris McDonald of Denton, Phillip McDonald of South Carolina and Michael McDonald (Melissa); his close friends, Lane Haynes (Brenda) and Sylvia Ellison; and his pets, Mercy, Rascal, Rosie, Leia and Ivy. He is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (4145 Johnson St, High Point, NC 27265). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
