He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilma Hearn (Burns) and Warren Long. He is survived by : his children, Stanley Richard Long, Jr., Taunia Long Edwards and Shannon M. Long; his siblings, Jerry Long, Warren Long Jr., Johnny Hearn, Cindy Wadsworth, Garleene Renee Hearn and Laci Allison; and his nephew Randall Long (Lisa).
