He is survived by: his wife Sharon McCanless; his children, Chris McCanless, Landon Sink (Kayla) and Jessica Goins; his sisters, Eunice Ferguson (Alfred) and Janice Chancy (Gary); and his grandchildren, Mason Beal, MacKenzie Beal and Grayson Goins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Trindale Baptist Church (10407 Archdale Rd, Trinity, NC 27370).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Hospice Home at High Point, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
