It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abimael Vargas of Troutman, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Luis Alberto Vargas and Blanca Casals Vargas; and his sister Maria Carmoega. He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Montero Vargas; his children, Michaela Biggers (Chris), Malachi Vargas, Ariana Lamia (John) and Luis Vargas (Caitlyn); his grandchildren, Taylor Perso, Isabella Perso, Charlie Biggers and Valentina Vargas; and his siblings, Judy Garces (Frank), Debra Vargas and Luis Vargas (Joey).
