She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth G. McBride and Mildred Moore McBride; and her husband Oscar Thomason, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Samuel Thomason; her daughter-in-law Allison Thomason of Troutman, NC; her granddaughter Amy Troxell (Joshua Troxell); her great grandchild Zander Troxell of New Bern, NC; her granddaughter Ashley Thomason of Raleigh, NC; and her pets, Tucker Thomason and Lilah Thomason.
