Though Celia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney E. Hilderbrand and Betty Lou Davidson Hilderbrand; her sister Deborah Hilderbrand Sherrill; and her brother-in-law James "Jim" Sherrill Sr.. She is survived by: her brother Sidney Eugene "Gene" Hilderbrand; and her sisters-in-law, Renee Jenkins Hilderbrand (Robert "Robby" Quinn Hilderbrand) of Stony Point and Stephanie Sue Hilderbrand of Phoenix. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Troutman First United Methodist Church Cemetery (204 Mills Ave, Troutman, NC 28166).
