She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Sharpe Jones; her parents, Edna Klarma and George Klarma; her sons, David Jones and Richard Jones; her grandparents, Charles and Missie Daniels Lamb; her brothers, J. Soloman Ranson and Alonzo E. Ranson; and her granddaughter Keysha Hobbs.

She is survived by: her children, Johnnie Jones (Lisa) and Gale Jones (Tim Painter); and her half-brother Oscar Parker. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
