She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Coy Marlow and Lillian Waugh Marlow; and her siblings, Dorothy McCoy (David), Beatrice McCoy (Clarence) and J. D. Marlow (Matoka).

She is survived by : her husband G. Carroll Gilleland; her grandchildren, Charlene Jones (Zane), Kaylee Johnson (Kylie), Joshua Simpson (Kaiden) and Emily Holcomb; her great grandchildren, Bailee Johnson, Grayson Jones, Emma Jones and Wylder Simpson; and her niece Patricia Medlin (Alex). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
