He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sue Pope Cain; his children, Marshall Cain, Jr. (Janet) of Lillington, NC and Valerie C. Stark (Sam) of Holly Springs, NC; his stepsons, Jeffrey "Todd" Ellis (Gina) of Statesville and Mark Anthony Ellis (Rachel) of Statesville; and his grandchildren, Ben Ellis, Hannah Suarez (Ethan), Josh Ellis (Kendall), Elizabeth Cain, Kaden Cain, Carrington Stark and Adler Stark. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
