Ruth leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Ruth’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zula Cashion Deaton and J. Marshall Deaton; her husband Ray; and her siblings, Mary Shuler, Spencer, Guy, Gillie and Kenneth "Jiggs" Deaton.
She is survived by: her close friend Ray Stafford.
