She was predeceased by: her parents, Lake Wood Murdock and Pearl Jane Myers Murdock; her children, Larry Scott Karriker and Sherry Karriker Brown; and her siblings, Dennis Woodrow Murdock, Leville Overcash, Mimi Dell Moore, Hessy Louise Moore and Louise Murdock.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Privette (Rick) of Hiddenite; her grandchildren, Zachary Privette (Tori) of Statesville and Rebecca Privette; her great grandchildren, Zane and Zoey Privette; and her brother Charles Allen Murdock (Brenda) of Statesville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
