She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph L. Clayton and Mary Argie Clayton; her son Bob Burns; and her sister Becky Ann Heafner. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Smith (Tony) of Pee Dee and Clayton Burns (Susan) of Carthage; her grandchildren, Jarred, Emily and Zachary; and her brother Ralph L. Clayton, Jr. (Faye) of Reidsville. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
