She was predeceased by : her parents, Arvil Pinky and Maddie Ann Smith Dellinger; her sister Gail Wilson of Lincolnton; her grandson Christopher Cranford; her former life partner George L. Wood; and her husband Herman M. Chrisco.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sheila Ann Cranford (Roy) of Asheboro, Paula A. Sheffield (Bill) of Troy and Finice Lynn La-Pointe (Leo) of Florida; and her brother Dwight Dellinger (Judy) of Maiden. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
