He is survived by: his children, Pamela Batten (Jason Simmons) of Troy, Jodi Batten Griffin (James) of Troy and Stephen V. Batten of Troy; his grandchildren, Matthew Pauly, Jimmy Griffin and Layla Griffin; and his great grandchild Jaxson Pauly.
Phillip enjoyed playing his guitar and playing for charity events.
