She is survived by: her brother Charles "Charlie" Geren; her children, Martin Allen Hamilton of Asheville, Daniel "Danny" Wayne Hamilton (Jane) of Graham and Jennifer Hamilton Deadmon (Tim) of Swansboro; her close friends, Linda "Sue" Smith and Miranda Strider Allen; and her pets, Bundy, Darcy, Ruby Deadmon and Denali Hamilton.
