She is survived by: her daughter Kecie Melia Simmons Dunigan (Walter) of Troy, NC; her grandson John Cole Thompson (Natalie Kallam); and her brother Jack Griffin of Chadbourn. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
