She is survived by: her parents, Gary Reece King of Star and Carol Hare of Troy; her children, Alex Reece Thompson of Troy and Samantha Calhoun of Star; her brother Garriet Lee King of Troy; and her grandson Dawson Calhoun of Star.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service (620 Albemarle Rd, Troy, NC 27371). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery (819 Mt Carmel Church Rd, Troy, NC 27371).
