It is with sadness that the passing of Carroll Edney of Tryon, North Carolina is shared. Carroll, born on June 6, 1936, passed away on June 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edney and Helen Morton Edney; and his granddaughter Mariah Bethany Queen. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Edney; his children, Angela Queen (Greg) and Joshua Edney (Jessica); his siblings, Douglas Edney, Shirley Harris (Arthur) and Bonnie Pendleton; and his grandchildren, Meredith Queen Collom (Kaleb), Hope Queen, Calvin Edney and Damian Edney. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Boonie's life by supporting Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, International Mission Board, and Mud Creek Baptist Church.
