He was predeceased by : his parents, James Allen Crockett, Sr. and Elizabeth Eversole Crockett; and his brother James "Jim" Allen Crockett, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Ruth Howard Crockett; his son Charles Jackson "Chip" Crockett, Jr. of Myrtle Beach; and his siblings, David Finley Crockett (Valerie) and Frances Crockett Ringley of Charlotte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
